yesterday, i went to toronto. the place was very nice, and very cold..
i went to the chinatown there, and it was so cool, cos, I BOUGHT A TAIWAN SERIES. it was 翻滚吧！蛋炒饭 rolling love!! haha. though it does not look like the real thing, but the picture is very clear, because i ask the shop person to play it for me. the shop also have many DVDs and VCDs like 康熙来了，大小爱吃，终极一班，终极一家，kungfu dunk.ttherewas another shop that sold cds, they had Show Luo's SPESHOW and fahrenheit's second album, but the cover was the fahrenheit fantasy pic!!(esther lam, you would know what i'm talking about) haha. guess how much i got the rolling love dvd for? $10 bucks ONLY!! haha, it was $14, but my mum says she wants it to be $10, so the lady was like ok la. hahahahaha. DVD somemore, and it is very clear.

i also went to the so called "orchard road" of toronto, and i saw this:




the 1st pic is a big pond, frozen because of the weather and many people were skating on it. the 2nd pic is a band playing, like a open air concert, so it was like free music. you can see the purple part there, thats thats the stage. 3rd pic is a guy doing a painting on the ground, 4th is the famous CN tower of toronto, with a revolving restaurant on top. the restaurant is called restaurant 360. the 5th and 6th is the old city hall building, where criminals go to report, something like that. i think it is a justice court now. the new city hall is just beside it.

this guy, he is real, but he really acts like a robot, like the ones that use to be in cineleisure. so cool la. but a little scary, cos he just stares at you like a robot, with no expression at all. i found him super cool and there was a huge crowd watching him. hahhaa.

the "orchard road" is very lively, and there are a lot of people busking. i saw this guy, who was holding a sign saying something like "god save the world.." like those people whoo walk around the streets carrying signs and blah blah blah..

on my way to toronto, i went to eat dim sum at a chinese restaurant, and they had chinese newspaper. and when i opened to the 4th page, guess who i saw？JAY CHOU!! haha. a full page of his concert ad. haha.

Today morning is -3 degrees, and when i woke up it was freezing.

today, my brother and i went tobogganing! i was super fun!!>.< you're suppose to slide down from a hill on a board like thing. then you end up going very fast. haha. it was so fun!! i was covered in snow by the time i finished playing. haha.
Today, my dad's friend came from the US. They are coming over for 4 days, leaving on sunday night i think. the kids are like half american half chinese, because my dad's friend is chinese and his wife is white. haha. more people in the house!! but luckily we have a spare room in the basement. it is even bigger than my room..-.-
I have swimming lessons for the whole week, and we're like learning freestyle, diving and life saving. its quite fun. then we play games in the pool. we do all these things in the school pool and the water is really warm:)) then after that we change and go to class.

since shirley asked me to post a pic of myself, this a pic of my sis and brothers in the car. and i have not grown fatter. not so fast:)

Nice right? it was very cold though, because of the mist and the wind.

it has been snowing a lot. the car is like covered in snow and it is freezing out there. Like minus something degrees.. even the car is covered in snow. when i was walking home from school ytd, it was snowing very heavily and the snow kept flying into my face, though was wearing a hood.. the snow is getting thicker and my jeans get wet whenever i go out. but the weather is cool and I LOVE IT:D

Omg, today's phys ed class we did the fitness test. something like napfa, but more stuff. we do it at the beginning, middle and end of the year. we usually play floor hockey during class. we did the beep test, if your a basketballer, you'll know what i'm talking about, and this time we have to run the full basketball court, not half so it was kind of tiring, since i have not trained for so long and the air is so dry, when you breathe in, its like having a sore throat.
We wear like 2 layers plus a jacket in school. going to school we wear a winter jacket outside and put it in our locker before school starts cos the wind is very very very chilly. we got loads of jackets at home. haha. very cool.

Yesterday, we went to Scarborough, and guess what, the place was very "chi na"!! I saw many of my favourite DVDs, CDs, and my favourite BUBBLE TEA too!! The whole place was even more chi na then Singapore. AND, JAY CHOU IS COMING TO TORONTO ON THE 18 OF DEC!! SO COOL!! His posters were in the shopping malls, even at a restaurant.


It also snowed today morning and it was so cold. The temperatures will be dropping for the next few days, like wed is -3/-11.. These are pictures of the trees outside my room window. Beautiful right?:]
I only have 4 periods a day in school. I go to school at 9am, announcements until 9.10am, then silent reading until 9.30am. After that, its history, civics then PE, but they call it phys ed. each period is 1 hour 10mins, but a 10-15mins break is included. there is a one hour lunch break from 11.55-12.55pm, so my sis and i walk home as my school is literally opposite the school. We have our own lockers so we can hang our coats.
